｜Conception

The word "SPOT" can function as a noun, referring to a dot, location, or spotlight, as well as a verb, meaning to discover, see, or notice. The Chinese name is a combination of the homophonic sounds of "classics" and "golden spot," with the intention of capturing the essence of Bole's discovery of a talented horse. Additionally, taking into account the principles of Chinese character design, the character "金點" is simplified to "金点" (Jīn diǎn), reducing the number of strokes required.

SPOT SELECT was established in Taipei, Taiwan in 2019.

The founder had a dream of creating a brand since high school. In university, she studied visual communication design and became interested in crafts design. To better understand the process of making products, she went abroad to study short-term courses on woodworking, CNC processing, laser engraving, and model making.

Before starting the business, the founder tried selling some items through C2C shopping platforms and found joy in the process of production and selling, which led to the idea of running an e-commerce business. During this period, she noticed that people might struggle with gift-giving, so she established a brand that provides solutions for individuals with such needs.

SPOT SELECT launched its official website in July 2022, offering a wide range of housewares, kitchenwares, and design gadgets. The brand aims to introduce more exceptional domestic and foreign brands in the future. In the short term, the goal is to provide diverse and comprehensive services to meet customers' needs, including gift packaging, card design, and dried flower bouquet services. In the long term, the goal is to design functional and beautiful lifestyle products under the brand name.
